FEATURED PROJECTS

There’s no better feeling than walking away from a project knowing our customers are truly happy with the end result. Customer satisfaction is not a goal for us. It’s a requirement. When our work is showcased in the media, we are humbled and honored. We would like to thank everyone involved in putting together the great articles below:

TIO ROBERTO GUZMAN

To be a fly on the wall when he is running a crew, would be like witnessing a cloud of sawdust envelop a jobsite for a stretch of time and then with the repeated roars of circular saws, multiple shots of a nail gun, the dust would clear, and a perfectly plumb, straight, and level addition to your home would magically appear. He is a craftsman through and through and when he talks we all listen because he does not waste words and he knows more than most of us exactly what he is talking about.

Tio is a father of 3 and grandfather of 2 and has a very close family here in the United States, hosting a weekly papusa dinner at his home for everyone to join. He also visits his Salvadorean relatives yearly with a trip back to El Salvador to an area known as Costa Del Sol. After he returns we see pictures of him frolicking in the waves and smiling ear to ear like a young man. He truly is young at heart and has the wisdom that comes from age of man who has seen a lot of the world and what it has to offer.

ALEX GRANADOS

He can be a work horse, creating structures in the blink of an eye, but is actually quite soft spoken and very thoughtful, always smiling. The youngest of our management crew, he brings a youthful optimism to all projects. This enthusiasm makes him happy to take on new and exciting projects. His enthusiasm and excitement is infectious and really can bring momentum to a project that carries from start to finish. The phrase, “whistle while you work”, was made for him, and consequently for us as a company.

Having recently purchased a home for his mother in El Salvador, he really knows that home is where the heart is. The happiness and security of his family here and abroad is paramount. At home with his wife and beautiful daughter, he enjoys dancing and eating delicious Salvadorean food. When he gets time to unwind you can find him on the soccer field shooting a goal or off by himself juggling a soccer ball for what seems an interminable length of time.

RAUL CONTRERAS

He expects the same of his crew and of the projects he oversees. A fine carpenter by trade, he is an artisan; always wanting to make sure things are done properly. This desire for true understanding of what is proper no matter what the project at hand has created a very specific niche in the company for him. He thrives on jobs that are unique and pushes our boundaries and capabilities as a company to new horizons on almost every project. His ability to problem solve, think critically, and execute has a become a now vital addition to our company approach.

With a wife and two young daughters at home, he has been able to get in touch with a softer side that he doesn’t necessarily get at work. His family keeps him in touch with what is really important, and this translates to his approach to work. He is a great lover of soccer, and his favorite team is of course Manchester United. And here and there he gets to sneak away to a local lake and go fishing with his brother to unwind.

MARIO CONTRERAS

This attention to detail and desire for things to be done correctly has made him an invaluable asset to the company.
He also has a great desire to learn better and more efficient ways to do things on a job site. This thirst for knowledge and efficiency has streamlined many of our processes and this coupled with his desire for perfection has set the bar very high for what is expected on every job, and has pervaded the company. He was our first “lieutenant” and has become a shining example of what we expect of ourselves, our crews, and the standards of quality and finish on all of our projects.

A family man, he lives here on the peninsula and spends a lot of time with his two young children and wife when not at work. He is also in the process of remodeling his own home, likely taking lessons from work and applying for himself. And here and there he gets to sneak away to a local lake and go fishing with his brother to unwind.
